Purpose
ILWU Local 21 stood up for all of us against union-busting, and our communities turned out to stand with them, and together our solidarity forced EGT/Bunge to recognize Local 21 and abandon a legal case with national ramifications.
Come out on Sunday March 18 to thank Local 21 for their courage, and those who turned out in solidarity in Longview and Portland and beyond, and celebrate a victory over union-busting!
Join the march/parade, boat-swarm caravan from Portland (bring your watercraft on trailers, roof-racks, decorations to gather at the Expo Center for the drive up), music, speeches and more! Family friendly festive event.
