Mark: I would like to link the Joe's Cellar page with Authors in Pubs. ie., can a person do a search under Authors in Pubs and have the Joe's Cellar page pop-up. Also, when I created the page, the web address got kind of 'wacky. www.portlandwiki.org/joe%27s_cellar. Question: Can I take out the %, 27 and _. Leaving me with: www.portlandwiki.org/joescellar. thanks, don
Hi Don, not 100% certain what you are referencing - but imagine it might have to do with search being indexed every day or so. This is what I get when I search for Authors in Pubs - is that what you mean? As far as the URL coding - %27 = an apostrophe ' - so if you wanted that changed, we would have to go without the apostrophe on that page - which I think is your name Joe's Cellar - so I don't think that would work, do you? Also, maybe I am not getting what you mean :-) Best,
Hi Don, building on what Mark has said, we can easily create a redirect from the "JoesCellar" page to the "Joe's Cellar" page. That way the URL will be simpler (http://PortlandWiki.org/JoesCellar) and it will still go to the page with the correct title. I've gone ahead and done that: here's what I did. Hope this helps!
