Sorry to intrude like this on Ray's talk page.
A couple of PortlandWiki admins actually installed the SocialProfile extension (from whence those avatars are generated). I'm one of those admins.
I just did a quick scan of the extension's profile page and couldn't immediately find a setting for doing what I think it is that you want. You might try leaving a note on the extension's talk page.
