Bridgeton is a relatively small strip of a neighborhood along the Columbia River in North Portland, on the shoreline parallel to the upstream half of Hayden Island.
The U.S. Postal Service tried to designate Bridgeton as "Faloma", thinking of Bridgeton as too common a name.
