<big>On Saturday, May 5th, 2012 we launched a <span class="plainlinks">[http://www.portlandgeneralassembly.org/groups/community-assembly-for-a-peoples-budget/ campaign and action plan]</span> to fight for city budget and spending proposals that address the primary concerns we all share.</big>

<big>We have joined with labor unions, community groups, Occupy, local business owners, individuals and the broader 99% to join us in a fightback against the planned city cuts to essential services, while putting forth the budget priorities demanded by the 99%.</big>
