Columbia River Gorge

The Columbia River Gorge stretches eastward from Portland along Interstate 84. It's about 80 miles long and up to 4000 feet deep in places.

One of its attractions is Multnomah Falls, with a lodge and restaurant designed by Portland architect A. E. Doyle.
