Consumer cooperatives

Consumer cooperatives are a type of cooperative whose members are their consumers, as opposed to worker cooperatives whose members are employees. Consumer cooperatives can be business or organizations, and are democratically owned and controlled by consumers or customers.

Portland has a variety of consumer cooperatives. These include the following:
