Purpose

Want to learn how to make Civil Disobedience and Direct Action more fun, safer and more productive?

Want to plug-in to the upcoming national call out?

Get ready to for the F29 Shut Down The Corporations national day of action with the Portland Action Lab Direct Action Training for Everyone, or PAL DATE.

This will be a fun day of trainings and relationship building for everyone else who is interested in direct action. There will be trainings for those who have never participated in direct action as well as more experienced activists.

Trainings include
  • Non-violent Direct Action
  • Media for activists
  • Strategic Campaigning
  • Blockades
  • Legal support for activists
  • What is ALEC (a tool of the 1% and the target of F29!)
