Parking [[downtown]] is considered by some to be notoriously poor. There is parking on the street (with parking meters) and in various commercial parking garages, both for a fee. The metered parking uses a single payment kiosk nearby, which will take credit cards or quarters that range in price. The kiosk will print out a ticket, which will need to be attached to the curb-side front-side window. A sticker that can be peeled up from behind the ticket can be used to glue the ticket on. 

It is usually cheaper to get to downtown by [[bus]], [[MAX]], or bicycle.
