Feed Our Neighbors for Thanksgiving

[improve]

Purpose

The idea is to get as many people as possible to donate food, blankets, warm clothing, their time, or whatever else they can donate so we can occupy Pioneer Square on Thanksgiving to give out free food to the homeless, along with warm clothing, blankets, and moral support. The homeless are some of the hardest hit of the 99% and with the eviction of the camp, they again have nowhere to go. We cannot just forget about them, they are the 99%. By doing this single act, we will be putting our time and energy into actually creating community and affecting change in a positive manner. If you're interested in helping to make this happen, edit this wiki, or we can talk about the details on the discussion page.

Questions: How will this be different than the other two events Chaplains Occupy Thanksgiving PDX 11 24 2011 and FREE Thanksgiving dinner. How will this be advertised, how many people will be fed, when should people start arriving?
