The Francis Marion Apartments is an apartment building located at 1436 SE Stark Street in the Buckman neighborhood. The building was designed by the firm of DeYoung and Roald for Perry D. Tull and was constructed in 1926. There are seventeen units in the apartment building.

History

On the night of January 17th, 1963, the building's furnace ignited a backfire due to a plugged flue. It was extinguished by the Portland Fire Bureau, who reported that the blaze caused $600 in smoke damage.[1]
