Why we must create our own media

Free your mind... and maybe. Just maybe...

An on-site communications hub is essential. The major media cannot and will not represent our movement's interests. As more of us gain a clearer understanding of how the major, corporate-owned media plays a crucial role in keeping ordinary people distracted, confused, pacified and consumption-minded, the media's ability to maintain that role gets shakier. The major, corporate-owned media must go; corporate media is the problem.[1] Our funk forefathers once uttered these immortal words: "Free your mind ... and your ass will follow." It's time that we heeded their advice.
