About PortlandWiki's Weekly Meetups

Currently we're alternating between the following two locations:

When?

Every Monday and Wednesday at about 6:30-ish to whenever. It's casual.

Of course, you don't need to hang out with a bunch of Portland wiki geeks to contribute to PortlandWiki. But if you do decide to come hang out with us (and we hope you do!), we'll do our best to help you get started. Plus, we're a fun bunch, can't you tell?

You can also check out PortlandWiki's Weekly Wiki Workouts for other meetup ideas and start your own daily, weekly, monthly or yearly PortlandWiki meetup. For the most up-to-date details, check the Portland Wiki Wednesday mailing list.

Please see PortlandWiki's WikiWednesday page for details on our Wednesday Meetups.

Sometimes you'll find updated information in the Portland Wiki Wednesday mailing list earlier than here, so subscribe to it if you want to be better informed of cancellations/details/etc.

It's Questionable

Question: Hey, didn't you also meet some Mondays at Blitz Pearl?
Answer: Yes. In fact we met at Blitz Pearl on Backspace's Dorkbot Mondays because the Botting Dorks were a bit noisy. But hey! Blitz is a sports bar, and as they got busier and their sporty TVs blared more loudly and distractingly, we decided to opt for the quieter confines of Powell's Technical Bookstore on Monday nights. Obviously we don't blame Blitz; noisy TVs are an integral part of sports bar "fun."
