Portland Farmers Market includes six markets serving Portland's diverse food eating communities.
Nearly everyone (occasional hunger artists notwithstanding) eats substances called "food." Unlike those substances dished out to motorists idling in front of a fast-food drive-thru window, or festering--fresh from a sweatshop assembly line--in factory-made containers perched on supermarket shelves, the food found at Portland's farmers markets is actual food.
