'''Red and Black Cafe''' is a [[Worker-Owned Cooperatives|worker-owned]], vegan restaurant located in the [[Buckman]] neighborhood (close in SE Portland) at [[SE 12th Avenue]] & [[SE Oak Street]]. The cafe's worker-owners are unionized with the [[IWW Portland GMB|Portland branch of the Industrial Workers of the World (IWW)]] and the cafe is a closed shop, meaning all of its workers are union members. The cafe also belongs to the United States Federation of Worker Cooperatives. The cafe is a hub of radical activity in the Portland area, hosting many social justice oriented activists, speakers, and musical acts. Every Wednesday at the cafe is "Worker Wednesday" and customers can receive a discount by showing their union membership card.
