a lot of what is making onto the "news" section of the main page doesn't seem so portalnd related and/or political. i'm not sure this is going to attract contributors and/or a wide segment of the population. i appreciate the energy time and effort, but perhaps it could be directed in another direction. : Hey [[User:Michael|Michael]]! Thanks for your feedback. Sorry I didn't spot it until quite a while after you posted it. We'll try and keep the front page news blurbs more obviously Portland-focused. Whether they seem "political" or not probably depends on the subject matter and how it's perceived by the reader. With luck, we'll find someone (or a group of someones) interested in taking over the daily news blurbs tasks.
