broken image
File:IMG 1976.JPG (seen at right) cannot be accessed directly... http://portlandwiki.org/Internal_error.html is the page I get when I visit it.
I think the cause of this is that the image is larger than our allotted filesize for uploads (it's at 2,052,469 bytes). It was probably uploaded anyway because the "drag and drop" upload method probably bypasses that limit.
That's my guess.
I just wanted to be sure this error is not just me... check out that file page sometime and report what you find please. Then I can resize it to something smaller and re-upload; see if that fixes the problem.
Hey Kotra,
I tested trying to access the image while not logged in at a remote computer (workstation in the OHSU central pharmacy). Got the same or similar error. As you suggest, perhaps we should reduce the file size.
Dave I can't upload anything. I am not sure what's going on, but it might be that we've run out of space. I tried deleting the bulletin board picture (which is why it's now been replaced by some random Commons picture above), but no dice.
Can you try uploading something - anything?

Hey Kotra,
As far as uploading goes -- I just rebooted the server. Can you try again? I won't be able to test anything this evening as I'm going out the door to see Billy Bragg at the Aladdin Theater with my kid, courtesy Siobhan from People's Budget Project, who gave us the tix to this sold out show.
