If you must make a change, please explain it.

Hello User: Please explain any edit changes you make. Especially if you're making those changes anonymously. You might have a perfectly good and righteous reason for making your changes. Please don't leave it up to others to decipher your reasoning. Kind regards.

Sure, lots of confusing information is happening for various reasons and your edits re-added that confusing information - lots of stuff happening, apologize for not providing an edit summary.

Check out the website post now - it is trying to clear up stuff.

Tomorrow a group from Street Team committee, who organised followers yesterday without GA consensus, will begin marching from the Rose Quarter. They will be joined by the mayor’s office and** the Portland marathon chief officers, and the mayor’s office has graciously invited them to join the race, behind the runners at 2:30PM. They will follow them from the Rose Quarter, over the Broadway Bridge, along Naito Parkway, West on SW Jefferson to SW 4th to the occupied Chapman Park/camp/headquarters.

Together the city will also join in celebration of John Lennon’s birthday, singing his famous song, “Imagine.”

Imagine all the people, living life in peace. You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you will join us,

and the World will live as One.”

This has not been GA approved, only acknowledged by the GA.

“My understanding is that the GA approved a march at Noon, gathering at the PSU Park Blocks – see here. Choose for yourself which you will go to, or go to both. More information can be found in the comments to this post, the forums, and facebook.”

The official march will still start at the South Park Blocks. It is unclear whether the General Assembly has fully endorsed the second march with the Portland Marathon, but a large group is pushing for the two to come together. We will keep you informed as to the GA’s decision as it progresses. There is some confusion regarding the marches for Sunday the 9th.

Hello User:

It's clear you already have your hands full, so please continue with what you have to do.

However, when you have a moment, please review the two versions of Imagine all the people, living life in peace, available here:

One goal of collaborative platforms like wiki is to offer participants in a given community an opportunity to "improve" on each other's work. In the real world, not all such "improvements" are seen in the same light.

That said, the contributions made to improve the article's structure -- undone by your edits -- took another PortlandWiki volunteer (me) considerable time. That volunteer took pains to improve the article's clarity. While that doesn't necessarily mean "job well done," it does mean that it isn't necessarily appropriate for another contributor to come along and simply unwind previous edits made by the previous contributor.

Rather than simply overwrite another editor's contributions (assuming those contributions aren't obvious vandalism, etc.), please simply "correct" any "mistakes" or other "confusing" language, and let all improved formatting, internal / external links, etc. remain in place.

Kind regards,
