Portland is a DIY (do it yourself) kind of town. Some examples of Portland's DIY culture are Portland's nationally famous semiannual craft fair Crafty Wonderland[1], active sewing, knitting, homebrewing, and urban agriculture scenes, and the many bicycle shops and tool libraries offering space and equipment for you to use on repairs.
