Sellwood-Moreland is a neighborhood in Southeast Portland along the eastern bank of the Willamette River. It's bordered on the north by Brooklyn, on the east by Eastmoreland, and on the south by Clackamas County.
Sellwood began as an independent town, and was annexed by the city of Portland in 1893. It has a thriving downtown community, a vintage amusement park along the old trolley line called Oaks Park, and many restaurants and shops.
Sellwood is the location of the 17-acre Sellwood Park, the adjacent 7.6-acre Sellwood Riverfront Park, and the 141-acre Oaks Bottom Wildlife Refuge alongside the local section of the Springwater Corridor. Sellwood is also the eastern terminus of the Sellwood Bridge.
