Sunderland is a neighborhood in Northeast Portland, bordering the eastern end of the Portland International Airport, and bordering the neighborhoods of Cully, Concordia, Woodlawn, Piedmont, and East Columbia. Sunderland has a short section of Columbia River frontage.

Portland's semi-permanent homeless campground, Dignity Village, stands on city-owned land in Sunderland, adjacent to the minimum-security Oregon state Columbia River Correctional Institution.
