It's a Beautiful Pizza closed its doors in early February, 2010. A hippie/alternative pizza place in Southeast, It's a Beautiful Pizza held a place in many Portlanders' hearts, despite its mediocre pizza. At one time the only pizzeria in Portland serving vegan pizza with soy cheese, it filled a niche. However, towards the end of its life, its ample seating consistently was occupied by few customers, and though the occasional live bands did bring in some, apparently they didn't bring in enough.
