A multicoper is a general term for flying vehicles that use one or more propellers to fly through the air. Usually a multicopter is a battery operated, small-scale, remote-controlled vehicle. There are many mass-produced models for sale to the public.

Multicopters are usually called quadcopters due to the popularity of the four-propeller configuration.
