Washington Park is one of Portland's oldest parks.
Situated in the West Hills, it was originally known as City Park. It is home to:
- the World Forestry Center
- the Vietnam Veterans of Oregon Memorial
- the Hoyt Arboretum
- two of the Portland City Reservoirs
- the Portland Japanese Gardens
- the International Rose Test Garden
- the Oregon Zoo
- the Washington Park MAX station, reportedly the deepest transit station in the United States
