Southeast 50th Avenue is a major street between SE Hawthorne Boulevard and SE Powell Boulevard. Traveling south on SE 50th, SE 50th feeds into the beginning of SE Foster Road; those wishing to continue further south would turn at SE 52nd Avenue, which continues all the way to the city of Milwaukie.
North of Hawthorne, the closest major north-south routes are East 39th Avenue and SE 60th Avenue. SE 50th is a quiet residential street in this area.
