Purpose
The Occupy Policy and Vision group is holding a “Town Hall” type meeting for the purpose of reflecting on where we are now and to share ideas about near and longer term futures for Occupy Portland.
All are welcome.
The town hall will begin with some brief comments from the organizers about what they see as the current state and greatest strengths of OP so far. People will then discuss in smaller groups some similar questions. We'll share our reflections on desired futures for OP, and some ways to get there.
Questions may include:
- What has worked?
- What is unique about OWS?
- What is unique about OP?
- How will the current displacement of the camp affect OP?
Who: Occupiers, supporters, and any other interested or curious people who would like to focus on these questions.
Why: To continue our work, build on our strengths, and include more people from more of Portland
