The McMenamins Pubs & Breweries are found in Portland and throughout Oregon. The company buys run-down but historical buildings and restores them to new glory.
Among their properties:
- the Bagdad Theater, an anchor of the commercial strip on SE Hawthorne
- Edgefield, the former county poorhouse and its campus, in Troutdale
- the Crystal Hotel
- the Kennedy School
- the Mission Theater, 1624 NW Glisan Street
- the St. Johns Theater
