There are plans in the works to have a celebration of sorts in the city that gave birth to the wiki, Portland. The location, time and other specifics are still being worked out, but will be available here and the [http://ten.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portland official page] as they become available. If you would like to attend, or lend a hand, feel free to leave a comment on the talk page, or follow any of the links below.

On January 15, 2011, Wikipedia will celebrated its 10th anniversary. A celebration was attended by approximately 60 people in the city that gave birth to the wiki, Portland. Good times were had by all and Wikipedia, the most famous of all wikis, was celebrated.
