North 45 is a bar and bistro on NW 21st (near NW Glisan Street). It is slightly upper class than the bars on its block. It features an array of Belgium beers and 6 draft selections. The front is dark and cozy with table seating with a shared booth along the wall. The bar has curved ledge for elbows.

A canopy covered back area with picnic tables and gas heater towers allow for summer meals. A smoker and bbq is used every Thursday night to cook pork.

The crowd is mostly upper middle class hipsters and tourists. Its discreet environment makes it perfect for first dates, and marginal for drinking alone.
