Henry Weinhard

Henry Weinhard was a German-born brewer who arrived in the area in 1857 and founded the brewer known as the "City Brewery".

By 1890 it was the largest brewery in the Pacific Northwest. His Weinhard Brewery Complex in northwest continued producing beer until 1999. Weinhard is buried in Riverview Cemetery.
