Dorothy Lee McCullough was Portland's thirty-fourth mayor, serving from 1949 - 1952.
McCullough was Portland's first female Mayor. Prior to serving as mayor, she had served as a state senator, and had been appointed to city council in August of 1943, replacing the recently deceased Commissioner Ralph Clyde and becoming the first woman council member. McCullough was elected as a reform candidate.
