PortlandWiki's Labor Day [[Monday Meets|meetup]] (Monday, September 6, 2010 at [[Backspace]]) was almost destined to be poorly attended. At least a couple of our core maintainers ([[User:Kotra|Kotra]] and [[MarkDilley|Mark]]) were out of town. I was also unable to persuade [[User:Sofiaangelina|my daughter]] to participate; she was too preoccupied with the impending launch of a new school year. Upon arrival, the friendly folks at Backspace informed me they'd close early that evening (7:00 pm) due to the holiday. Therefore it was especially regrettable that a new arrival ([http://twitter.com/znmeb @znmeb]) showed up and couldn't find the PortlandWiki table (see newsgroup thread [http://groups.google.com/group/wemakethemedia/browse_thread/thread/b007c7c928b10038 here]). Time to construct some sort of table-top sign, perhaps?
