Wind Mountain is a popular hiking destination for folks living in and around Portland. It's located on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge, 50 miles east of Vancouver near the community of Home Valley. Due to it's steep south face and location directly above the river, it is one of the most distinguished features of the gorge.[1]
