First Thursday in Portland refers to art exhibitions by local art galleries in downtown Portland, Oregon every first Thursday of the month. Most showings are free to the public. Many feature art, wine and music. Visitors are encouraged to walk from gallery to gallery to view all of the new art exhibits.
Show time is generally from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., but visitors are advised to "check each gallery's website for more information and to view all the artists works that they represent."[1]
