A longtime landmark on NW 23rd Avenue, Music Millennium's Northwest Portland location closed its doors for good in fall 2007, a victim of "escalation in rent," the "changing face of Northwest 23rd," and "the appearance of large national retailers such as Williams-Sonoma and the Gap."[1]
