Nigel Jaquiss is a reporter for Willamette Week, best known for winning the 2005 Pulitzer Prize for investigative reporting for his article about Neil Goldschmidt's sexual abuse of a minor during his tenure as Portland's mayor.
Jaquiss, who was born in 1962, began his journalism career in Portland in 1998. In addition to his article on Goldschmidt, he is also known for exposing the affair that Mayor Sam Adams (then Commissioner) had with Beau Breedlove, an affair that Adams had denied.
