SOAK* is a yearly Burning Man event near Portland. It's the Portland area's version of a "local burn", or mini-Burning Man festival. Its name is in reference to the local climate... the mysterious asterisk and all-caps, however, confound this editor.
The 2013 Soak will be from July 18 to July 21, 2013 at Prindel Creek Farm in Tidewater, Oregon (2.5 hours south of PDX).
