Policy Development & Outreach
Local high school student and PortlandWiki contributor, Sofia Angelina has agreed to lead two important PortlandWiki projects:
- Policy development.
- Outreach research.
Sofia will receive assistance and other guidance from her school's faculty and from PortlandWiki admins.
Policy Development Project
Northwest Academy's Initial Requirements:
- Write paragraph describing goal.
- Provide contact information.
- The school decides if the project proposal is legit.
Outreach Research Project
Question: What might draw interest from high school students Sofia's age (her peers) in contributing to PortlandWiki?
Initial suggestions:
- Photography
- Facebook-like interface?
- "Flashier" content.
