Portland has a large number of food carts, sprinkled throughout the city in sprawling hubs or solitary nooks. These provide a quick, usually low-cost alternative to brick-and-mortar restaurants. Popular with lunch crowds, coffee-seeking workers, or merely those seeking delicious diversity in their fuel intake, food carts give color to the city while they produce sustenance for your fragile human bodies.

Food cart locations

Most food carts in town are clumped into congregations of as large as a full city block to as small as two or three together. Some are completely by themselves, wedged in between restaurants and cafes or on the corner of a parking lot.
