About Monday Meets
Please see PortlandWiki's WikiWednesday page for details on our Wednesday Meetups.
Monday Meets are weekly PortlandWiki "edit parties" that are free, open to everyone, and casual. They're a great chance to meet the diverse group of people who edit PortlandWiki and experience the fun of collaborating in person on a wiki. There are always friendly wiki experts willing to lend a hand and answer questions. Participation is casual, you can pick a topic to write about if you want, or you can just chat with some wiki geeks over some food and drinks.

If PortlandWiki's Monday Meets don't work for your schedule, start your own PortlandWiki meet up and choose any day you like. Feel free to post your PortlandWiki meet ups here or start a new page about them!
You can also check out PortlandWiki's Weekly Wiki Workouts for other meetup ideas and start your own daily, weekly, monthly or yearly PortlandWiki meetup. ** Dorkbot meets every other Monday at Backspace at the same time as us, making it crowded and noisy, so we meet at Blitz Pearl on those weeks.
 Hey, didn't you also meet some Mondays at Blitz Pearl?
:Answer: Yes. In fact we met at Blitz Pearl on Backspace's Dorkbot Mondays because the Botting Dorks were a bit noisy. But hey! Blitz is a sports bar, and as they got busier and their sporty TVs blared more loudly and distractingly, we decided to opt for the quieter confines of Powell's Technical Bookstore on Monday nights. Obviously we don't blame Blitz; noisy TVs are an integral part of sports bar "fun."

This is a concern at Backspace, where there are usually a heck of a lot of geeky-looking folks with laptops. For folks that don't recognize the "regulars", we don't yet have a great way for you to find us... but for now, we usually are at the first table you get to when entering, or nearby. Just ask if we're here for PortlandWiki!
At Powell's Technical Bookstore just look for us at one of the little tables near the store's entrance.

Of course, you don't need to hang out with a bunch of Portland wiki geeks at Monday Meets to contribute to PortlandWiki. But if you do decide to come hang out with us (and we hope you do!), we'll do our best to help you get started. Plus, we're a fun bunch, can't you tell?

Where?

Currently we're alternating between the following two locations:

Question: Hey, didn't you also meet some Mondays at Blitz Pearl?
Answer: Yes.

How?

At Powell's Technical Bookstore just look for us at one of the little tables near the store's entrance.

At Backspace there are usually a heck of a lot of geeky-looking folks with laptops. For folks that don't recognize the "regulars," we don't yet have a great way for you to find us. For now, we usually are at the first table you get to when entering, or nearby. Just ask if we're here for PortlandWiki!
