Burnside Street is serviced by TriMet bus line 20-Burnside and is also accessed by: 12-Sandy, 15-Belmont and 19-Glisan. |
Burnside Street is the axis that splits Portland's Five Quadrants on its North-South axis.
- On the west side of the Willamette River, it is called West Burnside.
- It's named East Burnside on the east side of the Willamette River.
Before the street renaming of 1931, Ankeny Street was the north-south axis for the Eastside.
