Buckman is a neighborhood in Southeast Portland. It is bounded on the North by Burnside Street, the West by the Willamette River, the South by Hawthorne Boulevard and the East by [[Southeast 28th Avenue|East 28th Avenue]. Buckman is one of the oldest neighborhoods on the East side of Portland, and incorporates the old downtown area of East Portland.
