You're invited to the PortlandWiki Barnraising event! PortlandWiki's Barnraising event is where you help decide which improvements to PortlandWiki are most urgently needed, and then help make them. Places to go near Portland Long Beach, Washington: Convenient Portland getaway and home to the "world's largest frying pan." Visit beautiful Timberline Lodge, a National Historic Landmark. The lodge was constructed in the late '30s as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project during the Great Depression. Ski the slippery slopes of Mt. Hood. Explore the active volcano at Mt.
